Thank you Rick Morgan

For those of you who don't know... Rick has resigned from the position of Volunteer Fire Chief for Williams Lake. As most of you are aware, this is busy, time consuming and rigorous position. We want to extend EXTRA thanks to Rick.... since we have had many volunteers help us out to do the duties involved in maintaining the Fire House.

Additionally, we want to express our thanks to the following:

THANKS to Larry Clark and Stanley Poteet for winterizing the fire engines.

THANKS to Gary Jacinto for repairing the air hose connection.

THANKS to Stanley Poteet, Gary Jacinto and Rich Franken for painting the firehouse interior ceiling (after the ceiling insulation was completed).

THANKS to Barb, Sandy and Kim (the "Blum girls") for painting the "red" on the porch and face of firehouse...

We have also cleaned out the refrigerator and will be winterizing the firehouse kitchen and bathroom around mid October.

Items to be tackled next year include insulation of the exterior walls and to fix the leaking under one of the fire engines (between tank and pump) and a new toilet to be installed (chair height).

PLEASE let us know if you are interested in the Chief position... until that time, we will continue with a "Seasonal Volunteer Fire Department."
