WILLIAMS LAKE HOME OWNERS ASSOCIATION
ROAD PLANNING & SAFETY
Our roads are owned and maintained by the HOA. Your annual fee funds this service. The road maintenance is managed by volunteers in the community. There is work on them to smooth out the bumps, create drainage, etc., during May & June. If you have a particular issues on a road, please let us know. The roads are not maintained in the winter months. The county will plow the roads up to the cattle guard at our entrance, but snow removal within the community is the responsibility of the property owner. We also have a skid steer available for your use to fix private access, please contact Corky to plan the use of it and find out the rules.
Our speed limit is 10 MPH within the community. Please respect this as we have small children and pets running about, not to mention wildlife. For adventure and high speed with your ATV's please use the endless miles of road outside the community. Please also make your children aware of these rules. it only takes a second to create a disaster.
The forest service maintains the Williams Creek Road that starts after the cattle guard and runs down the hill to the paved road. This includes snow and rock removal. They only improve it in May & November. To keep this road from getting bumpy, please drive the speed limit, and put your car in 4 wheel drive if you can. If you see major rocks on the road, please either remove them of let the Forest Service know about them.
